Four North Texas cities – Frisco, Plano, Allen and McKinney – rank among the top 100 in a survey of the nation’s most affluent communities. The report, compiled by Portfolio.com and Bizjournals, analyzed 420 U.S. cities with populations above 75,000.
Among North Texas cities, Frisco came in at No. 27 with a per-capita income of $41,786 and a median household income of $103,295. Plano ranked No. 42, with a per-capita income of $40,920 and a median household income of $85,003. The neighboring cities of Allen and McKinney also made the top 100, with Allen at No. 75 and McKinney at No. 85. (2/22/10)
