Houston and DFW growing faster than other U.S. cities
Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth ranked #1 and #2, respectively in absolute population growth over the last decade according to newly released data from the US Census. Houston added 1.23 million people and Dallas-Fort Worth 1.21 million from 2000 to 2010. To put the growth in perspective, Dallas-Fort Worth added nearly three times more people than Los Angeles and nearly four times more people than Chicago over the last decade. (7/12/2011)
