DFW population grows by 147,000

The Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex was one of four major metropolitan areas that grew by more than 100,000 people between the years of 2007 and 2008, according to a new U.S. Census Report. The report says in the span of a year, the D/FW metro area added 147,000 people, while Houston added 130,000 people. Phoenix and Atlanta followed, adding 116,000 and 115,000 people, respectively.
