DFW ranks 6th in entrepreneurial activity
Nationally, an average of 320 out of 100,000 adults, or 0.32 percent, start a business each month in 2008. That was up from 0.3 percent in 2007. According to a recent study by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Texas tied for No. 13 at 0.37 percent. Of the largest metro areas, Dallas/Fort Worth ranked No. 6 in entrepreneurial activity.
