Dallas Business Journal selects Plano for “Best Real Estate Deals of the Year”

2010 - Encana Oil & Gas selected as the Headquarters/Campus Deal of the Year.  Encana is constructing a 320,000-square-foot Class A office building that will ultimately house 1,000 employees.

2010 - Denbury Resources selected as the Office Deal of the Year.  Denbury relocated 550 employees to 375,000 square feet in the Campus at Legacy.

2010 - Hyundai Capital America selected as the Private Green Deal of the Year.  Hyundai will ultimately employ 400 in a 50,000-square-foot space in the International Business Park that is focused on LEED certification.

2010 - The Campus at Legacy selected as Rehabilitation Deal of the Year.  The 1.2 million-square-foot three building campus represents a $15 million renovation that is now 95 percent occupied.

2008 - Children’s Medical Center Legacy selected as Best Medical Project. Children’s Medical Center Legacy is a $147 million children’s hospital designed to serve an estimated 587,000 children in the region.

2008 – Cigna Pointe selected as finalist for Best Green Project. Cigna Pointe is a 213,398-square-foot regional headquarters for CIGNA Healthcare of Texas, designed to be the first LEEDS certified building in their portfolio.

2007 - Capital One selected as Best Office Deal, Newly Developed Space. Capital One constructed a $50 million, 450,000-square-foot development in Plano’s Legacy business park in the first phase of a new regional campus.
