The hardest-working city in Texas is Plano. Workers actually work more hours per week there than in third-place Lincoln. But because of the city’s lower labor force participation rate (80%) they fall to fourth place.
Plano is also one of the best places to live the American dream. Of the 10 largest employers in the city, only one is a government organization. Alliance Delta, Toyota and HP all have headquarters or a large regional office in Plano. (8/30/2016)
