Plano named to “America’s Best Places” list

Plano was ranked 11th on “America’s Best Places” list compiled by Bloomberg Businessweek magazine. When explaining the reasons for Plano's rating the article states “This wealthy Dallas suburb has much going for it. The city is home to numerous corporate headquarters, such as Frito-Lay, J.C. Penney, and Rent-a-Center, that anchor the solid economy, reflected in just six percent living under the poverty line, low numbers of foreclosures, and a median income of $82,866.” (10/9/2011)
