In a landmark relocation for the community, Ross Perot moved EDS (Electronic Data Systems) to Plano. Later, Mr. Perot formed Perot Systems and again selected Plano as the headquarters location of his new corporation. Both companies laid the groundwork for other software and information technology companies to relocate and grow in Plano. Notable Plano companies includes: NTT DATA, USAA, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Palo Alto Networks, Tyler Technologies, Crestron Electronics and CA Technologies.
